I Just Said ‘Yes’ to Jesus
Now What?
You just made the most important decision of your life.
Welcome to a brand-new journey with Jesus.
We’re here to help you take your next steps - together.
What Are My Next Steps as a Follower of Jesus?
Grow Through God’s Word
The Bible is how God speaks to you. You can start today—one chapter at a time.
“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk…” — 1 Peter 2:2
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
Pray Daily
Talk to God honestly. Thank Him. Ask for help. Tell Him your concerns.
“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8
Be Part of a Church Family
God designed your faith to grow through community—not isolation.
“Do not give up meeting together… but encourage one another.” — Hebrews 10:25
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship…” — Acts 2:42
These are not random steps—this is what it means to follow Jesus.
The good news? You don’t take these steps alone.
Where Do I Start in the Bible?
Here is a simple, clear path for your first few weeks reading Scripture.
START HERE — Meet Jesus
Read: The Gospel of Mark (1 chapter per day)
This is the fastest way to learn who Jesus is, what He did, and how He calls us to follow Him.
NEXT — Understand Your Salvation
Read: Romans 5–8, Ephesians 1–2
These chapters explain:
What Jesus did for you
Who you are now in Christ
How to live free from guilt, shame, and sin
THEN — Learn How to Live as a Disciple
Read: Matthew 5–7 (Sermon on the Mount)
Jesus describes what a transformed life looks like—practically and powerfully.
HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE
Use S.O.A.P.:
S — Scripture
O — Observation
A — Application
P — Prayer
Just one chapter a day is enough to begin hearing God clearly.

I Just Got Saved, But I Still Have Questions…
“What if I still sin?”
You’re not saved because you’re perfect. You’re saved because of Jesus. When you sin, confess it to God, turn away from it, and receive His forgiveness (1 John 1:9). Over time, He will change your desires and habits.
I have friends, habits, or environments that pull me away from God. What do I do?
Ask God for wisdom and courage. Sometimes He leads us to create boundaries, change environments, or find new friendships—while still loving people. Your church family can help you walk through this.
Can I ask questions and wrestle with doubts?
Yes. God is not afraid of your questions. Bring them to Him in prayer, search the Scriptures, and process with mature believers. Doubt can become a doorway to deeper faith when you walk through it with Jesus.
“What if I don’t feel different?”
Feelings go up and down. God’s promise doesn’t. Trust what God says in His Word more than what you feel on any given day.
